When I first ordered new DIMMs for my HP Pavilion HPE that was over 3 years old I didn't want to pull the trigger because I couldn't fully utilize the Hynix factory memory. The HP support pages were completely useless. I've used Kingston in the past without incident, although their prices have always been a bit higher than other competitors. As expected, Kingston's Internet resource found a suitable product. No problem. I put in new flash drives and earned 16GB in minutes. Buy a Kingston to be sure. Of course there is a peace of mind factor if/when something isn't working as it should. In this case, the price per DIMM was as low or lower than the other options.
