Review on πŸš— Enhance Vehicle Safety with Beastron 12V/2.4GHz Wireless Video Transmitter and Receiver for Backup and Front Car Cameras by Stephen Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The transmitter is simply connected behind the rear light and works.

Works well. My Jeep Grand Cherokee has a sunroof and I didn't want to remove a lot of trim to use the license plate camera so I use this with an eyeball camera in the hitch plug (see photo). The camera comes with a hole punch so the camera can be mounted in the bumper but I don't tow much so I leave it in the hitch cover. A quick release wire is attached to the camera for removal. The transmitter simply plugs in behind the taillight assembly and slides down to the camera port. I drilled a hole behind the tail light assembly to mount the transmitter inside the car behind the rear side molding which only had to be unclipped in one spot to complete the installation.

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • Very expensive
