Media could not be loaded. As one reviewer said, once you try these clips, you'll never go back to your old style. The fact that you can set the tension and then swap out parts of different thicknesses and it automatically sets the same clamping pressure is fantastic. However, every time you want to change the distance from the yoke, you'll need to find a wrench to replace the nut at the top. The thread size used is about 5/16 but will not fit a 5/16 plastic handle. (Must be metric, and who sells metric plastic buttons?) I made a custom wooden button by punching a perfectly sized nut-shaped hole in 1/2" thick Baltic birch plywood with my Pantorouter (search Pantorouter on YouTube for an awesome one homemade tool). for mortise/tenon and specialty applications) Now I don't have to hold a wrench. :-) I also installed it on a 3/4" Baltic Birch with a hole in the center to accommodate a 5/16 T -Add bolts to easily mount the Bessey to the Pantorouter tabletop. Now I can move it with ease.
