In the past I have had a few protective swim cover-ups that I have loved, yet spent a fortune on. Yes, they worked great, yet this is an option for a very reasonable price that will protect you from the sun as well.I was pleasantly surprised when I slipped this over my head and it fit perfectly!It is on the longer side for length which is a total bonus for me and another reason I love this. It fits comfortably so that it doesn't pull or settle in where you don't want it to. The hoodie is a bonus for windy days or when you need a break from direct sun on you head. It has pockets which is great but they are not that attractive in my opinion, kind of just sewn on the front to have a pocket. Side pockets or even a zipped pocket would have been better. I have the white color which matches everything for summer and it is slightly see-through but perfect for a bathing suit cover at the beach or pool alike.
