I have two of these smart switches. I used to have another smart switch and finally got it back by trying one of these (I liked it so much I bought a second one). Other switches had a different delay when turning on or off, Eve Smart Switch activates almost instantly. Advantages: 1. No hub required. If you've read any of my other HomeKit reviews, you know I'm a huge fan of hubs. You don't need a hub or anything like that. Just plug it in and set it up.2. Quick and efficient setup via the Eve app or the Home app.3. You can track your power consumption via the Eve.4 app. It has a physical switch/indicator. You can turn on and off manually and know the status (green is on, the light is not off).5. The programmable schedule is fully customizable. I've programmed devices to turn on and off at certain times of the day. It's also great if you have something that uses power when not in use, you can turn it off when not in use. Cons: 1. The switch is quite large, as long as you put it on the bottom outlet you can still use the top one, but to plug in extension cords or the top outlet, it will block other outlets. It's okay, but you need to know about it. I love switches and can only recommend them.
