Review on Metra 70-8113 Amplifier Integration Harness for Toyota Vehicles (2000-2004) – Select and Optimize Your Car Audio System by Jeremiah Vishwasrao

Very happy with this suspension. It worked fine on a 2004 Camry with the JBL amp installed. I've seen some reviews of the amp not turning on but I think it's because the instructions on how to do this are a bit unclear. On this harness you need to connect the red wire from the harness to the red wire on the radio as obvious as yellow to yellow black to black BUT there is also a blue and white wire on the harness and that is your amp power. Neither your radio nor the wiring harness will most likely tell you where this is going. It should be connected to your red "Accessories" wire. If you don't do this, your amp won't turn on and you'll get no or very poor audio. This way the red wire connects to red, blue and white and you are done. Don't connect it to the yellow "battery" wire, otherwise the amp will work like a clock all the time and it will drain the battery. The blue wire is for the power antenna, which the Camry doesn't have, so ignore it. There are labels on the wiring harness for everything but it doesn't state that red wire is used for red and blue/white for Camry.
