I can not hear anything? You can do it!

2004 Toyota Camry XL After the initial problem "radio turns on but no sound", like most reviewers, I read almost all the posts on this site and one of the tips helped me. and it wasn't hard at all. As everyone said, there are two wires: black with a white stripe and blue with a white stripe, which are responsible for powering and grounding the amp. My radio didn't have matching wires so not connecting them at first was a problem. All I had to do was add a wire to the antenna power and antenna…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Useless features

Got this for my Toyota Avalon 2002 XLS. First I connected everything. it does not work. The display and buttons worked and glowed, I was able to connect via BT but there is no sound. Had to pull teeth to get more info to make it work. I was almost ready to put it in my car stereo and pay the butcher bill to install it when I thought of calling Crutchfield (where I bought my receiver). The guys there were SUPER helpful. They let me know my problem was probably the blue striped wire on the wiring

very good for Camry 2004

Very happy with this suspension. It worked fine on a 2004 Camry with the JBL amp installed. I've seen some reviews of the amp not turning on but I think it's because the instructions on how to do this are a bit unclear. On this harness you need to connect the red wire from the harness to the red wire on the radio as obvious as yellow to yellow black to black BUT there is also a blue and white wire on the harness and that is your amp power. Neither your radio nor the wiring harness will most…

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I highly recommend this product. Buy it. Makes installation easy.

This worked great with no problems on my 2007 Toyota Highlander with JBL audio and no navigation. I was struggling to install an Android head unit. I've read on various Toyota websites that nothing on Toyota Highlanders works the way I do. Someone here said this Metra 70-8113 hanger worked on their Highlander so I bought it. Looks like Metra upgraded this wiring harness because people have complained that it didn't have a power antenna or power amp wire (either one), and I believe it didn't…

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Bad experience

Two ground wires if you have an amp

I'm only writing a review to address my specific circumstances. Unfortunately, many vehicle or radio cables are different, so your mileage may vary. I bought this to replace the head unit on my 2002 Toyota Highlander with a factory amped JBL sound system. I bought a JVC KD-X330BTS stereo with RCA jacks on the back for four speakers. check with stereo descriptions. The problem was that there was an "extra" black wire with a white stripe that I couldn't identify. After just matching the wires…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Clarity
