Was great while it lasted

We received this doorbell in January of 17. Installation was simple, everything was great. About 16 months later, it stopped ringing. I replaced the transmitter battery, but turns out the receiver is dead. It wont chime when it is plugged into an outlet, even when I push the button on the side. So while it worked, it was awesome; dying 16 months later, not so much.**edited to clarify**I did not purchase the protection plan, or this could have been corrected. I am still going to buy another SadoTech doorbell, I am just going to add the protection plan as well. They are amazing for the price, and things go wrong sometimes.
