Finding the right way to push the button so that it sends signal. Just a clickin/ckickout doesn't seem to do it. Time will tell.The alarm part seems fine. Allot of different melodies/sounds. Kinda a pain to scroll through all of them but it'll get Good and loud.To reset push and hold sound button, narrow down the one you want.I have it for my driveway gate 40 yrds away.It worked for me. Very easy to install and set up. Had it working within 10 minutes of taking it out of box. The factory preset for alarm is perfect for us so I have not tried to change the alarm sound.

So far, so good. Easy installation and after a month, the doorbell still functions in heavy sun/heat. No rain yet to test it further. First thing out of the box, we tested the volume. Wow it has volume! Easy to install good looking sad. Our only disappointment was, it says waterproof but when you get it the instructions will tell you to have it under a sheltered area, or "covered”. Not really too surprised but I wish they had said that in the description before purchasing.

I needed a delivery bell of sorts at the end of my very long driveway. This fit the bill perfectly. Over 300 yards away, works like a charm every time. I'm actually using this product in my classroom. It was easy to hang up in a convenient place, which is not always the case with items, is definitely water resistant, which was obvious after me spilling water on the button the first day, and the volume control is perfect. I can adjust as need be in the classroom. This is the perfect item for any teacher who wants a constructive, effective way to get students to refocus or quiet down without having to nag.

The receiver in the house is only about ten feet from the the front door, and it only rings once every ten or so pushes of the button outside.
