Metal mounting lugs for 9 and 12 output versions ONLY. 16 and 24 outlet versions are PLASTIC. One tongue had a protective plastic cover while the other protected nothing. The unprotected side came ALREADY WITH CRACKS. because it is made of inferior plastic. I removed the still intact plastic tab and uploaded photos as evidence. It's pretty easy to tell that they are NOT metal and are easily bent by hand. Why they chose to use plastic in the LARGE versions is beyond me, but now you can make an informed decision. The sides and bottom of the power strip are actually metal, and the top part that contains the power button is also metal. . The outlet sections and the sockets themselves are made of plastic. It also doesn't include mounting screws which I was aware of beforehand but still very disappointing for the price. The only reason I'm not returning it is because it's huge, making it harder for me to return it. I think it's $40 down the drain.
