This is a fantastic external drive at a great price. I copy all my DVDs to an old laptop (that doesn't have a disc drive) that I use as a Kodi media server. I copied over a terabyte of data and this drive kept working. It's quite noisy when reading discs, you can definitely hear it oscillating up and down. It hasn't crashed yet though, so I can deal with the noise. Two hundred films have been copied so far and if it survives the remaining few hundred I will be happy to buy it. I'll copy a few more films.
