I've used a lot of plastic woodworking spring clips and when they have a point it comes off... and a lot of times I can't find it so I have to remove another one. The tabs are on these hinges and that's part of the problem because they don't slide so they can't be glued on...often one stays on top of what I'm clamping when I remove the clamp. Tip issues aside, these are decent clamps with a very strong spring. I bought these to hold the fabric on the frame of the greenhouse (see picture) and to hold the plastic wrap on the 1" EMT pipe I use in gardens to make antifreeze tires since the last frost day is usually occurs in the first summer day. . Good clips and I will be buying another bag soon.
