So far, so good. Calm.
I have tried many drain pumps over the years. I haven't installed this yet as it's here for backup. But I've dropped it in a bucket and let it run, and I like the float mechanism better. I think this will eliminate some of the stickiness you get with the slider style. And it's a lot quieter than any other model I've used (some of which were Harbor Freight). I'll try to come back and add more when it's used as I can't say for sure about the volume yet.
