The fan was the same diameter as the fan in the Biamp Systems AudiaFlex. One in my DSP got very noisy and I doubted its functionality. It was a good choice. Installation required significant modifications to the DSP chassis as I did not find the original mounting acceptable for maximum airflow. It was my choice. That being said, it moves MUCH more air than a PG fan, which is a good thing! But. It's loud at full speed. The cruise control helps as I can drive it at lower speeds and it gets quieter. Overall, running at low speed makes it just as noisy as the old fan, so I wish I could just replace it with an OEM part, but the ability to increase the speed if needed is an added bonus. And since the DSP is rack mounted in a closet, I don't really care about the sound. Tldr, it worked well, has great speed control but is noisy at high speeds.
