Review on πŸ“Έ Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens: Compact Wide-angle Zoom for Stunning Images by Nathan Kalivas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I got what I wanted with this lens - the angle is wider, the picture is fuller!

First of all - I'm a pure amateur. I bought a Canon T3i with two lenses (18-55mm and 55-250mm) in 2012 and have managed to get some good shots over the years. I'm completely self-taught, if I want to learn something new I go to the internet. There are a lot of very nice people there, tyvm. We bought an old house and I wanted to take some photos for the good. I was very frustrated that my 18-55 couldn't get a wide enough angle from the corner of the room. I looked at pictures of houses in the market and wondered how they could get an entire room in the picture. I went online and found a review of this lens on Revain by a real estate photographer. she sold me Within 24 hours (actually 5 hours but I didn't have time to play yesterday) I received this lens and was able to get the shots I wanted. I only took half a dozen photos so don't judge me! I was so excited to get exactly what I wanted that I decided to leave a review. I took the first shot with my 18-55 at the widest angle. 2nd from 10-18 at the widest point. 3rd - the desired angle with the new lens. Got some extra light on the tree outside, need to play around with it to improve it, but not bad for my first few shots with my new amazing lens. OK, now I'm going to play.
