Review on πŸ’† Medcursor Handheld Percussion Massage Gun - Powerful Deep Tissue Massager for Sore Muscle and Stiffness, High-Intensity Brushless Motor - Includes 6 Massage Heads, Gray by William Hilzer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love this massager. Finally something powerful.

One of the best recent purchases. I've had chronic pain for half my life and other than deep tissue massage I've found very little to relieve my pain. This massager will help. While not as good as a real massage, this is the best option if you can't afford a massage. I had the first Pure Wave Percussion massager and a few cheaper vibrators. None of them were powerful enough to dig deep and bring relief. This Medcursor provides enough power to release muscle tension and trigger points. I mostly use the highest setting, although the second highest setting is good for watching TV without too much noise. My wife prefers one of the medium settings. I was also impressed with the aesthetics of the device, the tactile feel of the handle, the attachments, and the lower noise level than other massagers I've had. The body is also very beautiful. Minor gripes: It would be nice if there was a way to toggle the performance settings up or down. This device requires you to touch them with your fingers to decrease the power. Not a big problem, but it would be more convenient. Also, it would be nice if there were softer-tipped tips that could be used on bony areas (knees, head, jaw). My joints hurt and I want to use this device. Even if the round tip is a little soft, it's too hard for the bone. A softer foam or rubber tip is perfect for this. I also experience a bouncing effect when applying the device to certain parts of the body (usually when it hits a bone). I assume this happens with any percussive massager (it happens with my Pure Wave massager too) so it can't be fixed. However, a softer attachment can help with this. Last mention: I noticed a slight rattle (other than the usual vibrating hum). While it's not overly annoying, it would be nice if it wasn't audible. All in all this is a fantastic product. Not sure if the cheaper options will work, although I think it's a good product at a fair price. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive, high quality and relatively quiet percussion massager. I ask the manufacturer to consider offering soft earbuds that users can purchase separately.

Pros
  • Portable design and smart 10 minute timer. Weighing only 1.7 pounds, this mini massage gun is easy to take with you anywhere. It is also equipped with a 10-minute timer, the massage experience of which is comparable to a one-hour massage by an experienced masseur.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
