Converted some cheap cans to clip-ins to facilitate LED conversion cheaply. This is your best bet. A couple of tips:1) Drill a 1/4" hole in a piece of plywood 2"x5" and mark a line 1 1/2" down from the hole.2) Set your new jig so that the line aligns with the bottom of the light can.3) Insert your nail set or punch into the hole in the jig and give it a good tap (enough to punch through the can).4) Repeat the process on EXACT other side of the can (use a tape if necessary- it's the largest distance from where you punched your first hole).5) Drive a 3/4" long, panhead or hex head sheet metal screw with clip into the holes, clips on top.Done. Clip in your new LED trims.
