7/16 " Thickness was indeed as advertised

There are a few reviews here about other people who had received a .25" but had ordered the 7/16". I'm happy to say that mine (7/16") was as advertised. I was hesitant to buy it, however it's exactly as I expected. There are no lingering odors (plastic wrap or rubber backing) and it's clean/new. Every aspect reflects a fresh rug pad that's newly cut from a roll, wrapped, and shipped.I have another RugPadUSA pad that I had purchased directly from their site and this appears to be the same quality. My rugs are very knotted and textured, so although the rug pads provide comfort, I don't think I'd be able to gauge the cushion it provides for a typical or flatter loomed rug. But I am absolutely satisfied.

I have purchased other rug pads from various sellers. Recently, after purchasing a new area rug, I needed a rug pad to provide extra cushion to a rather thin rug. The 7/16 felt rug pad with rubber backing added the needed cushion for my 9x12 area rug. The price was also better than other competitors. The pad only needed a slight trim with scissors.
