Bought this for Stroopwafels first and made over a dozen with it the day after it arrived. It worked really well once I figured out the time - only about 2 minutes and each waffle was golden brown. The unit maintained a consistent temperature throughout, the non-stick plates were easy to peel off with the offset spatula, and the natural weight of the top plate provided the perfect thickness. I can't wait to try this traditional Kegel recipe. This iron has already taken its place in my kitchen - I'll take care of it!
