I bought this for my jeep which didn't have something like this from MFG. Easy to install and I love it! 18 months and the jeep doesn't last more than 24 hours on a charge. Low and after I unplugged the USB port (not the cigarette lighter) everything was back to normal. However, I left the jeep for 7 days without starting it. It started straight away and works flawlessly. I wouldn't say I won't buy it, but I would say this little piece of electronics (USB ports) isn't as durable as advertised. The jeep has an open top and is often driven off-road. This means that there is a lot of dust and dirt in the car. Even with the rubber cover firmly attached, this device does not fail. I'll buy it again (hey, it's cheap!) to see if it was just defective. I'll update with the results from the second block in a while.
