I have been using these devices at work for many years and have taken many, many measurements to document factory conditions. This latest model from Bosch is a cool device - love the size, the bright easy to read LCD screen and the decent features. Although there are a few things that really bother me. First, the buttons feel cheap and just don't have a super nice (and light) solid click/feel. The button seems to require the right amount of pressure in the center to activate, sometimes requiring multiple attempts when operating the device with one hand. Very often this happens in the field when my other hand is busy holding a notebook or supporting my body in a cramped attic etc. In fact I would compare the buttons to the cheapest TV remote. They probably do not differ in work from their less luxurious models, which is very disappointing. Secondly, this thing drains the batteries quickly. No big deal. I thought so, but lithium batteries are almost mandatory. Finally, this device does not have a unit setting for decimal inches. All previous (non-Bosch) models I've used have this. Thanks for reading and hope it helps.
