I am a wedding and commercial photographer, before Canon R I used Canon 80d crop for 3 years, shot 15 weddings with it. Now since May 2022 I have been using Canon R in combination with 35mm and 85mm. Filmed 5 weddings over the summer on R. Compare with 80d. Flaws: The electronic viewfinder, compared to the optical viewfinder, is not pleasant to use, in sunny weather you can not see anything, but in a dark room, on the contrary, it blinds. With a flash, electronic is generally useless. The automatic white balance jumps, the 80d in the series had a much more even and correct auto white balance Shooting on Av. Semi-auto mode is more prone to error than 80d. You have to spend more time processing a series shot on the street on Av than when shooting on 80d. (Even though I thought it would be the other way around) The topic on the Internet that everyone must shoot at full frame and mirrorless is strongly promoted by marketers. I advise you to think.
