The mirror itself is very nice. It's lightweight, looks good, and the mirrored "glass" shows the true image without distortion. It attaches very well and securely to the visor on the passenger side of the F150. Now for the troublesome part, when this vanity mirror is in the closed position and the sun visor is folded down but moved forward toward the windshield, the vanity mirror doors begin to open under their own weight. That looks crappy to me. If I want to keep the vanity mirror closed, I don't want the sides to open regardless of the position of the sun visor itself. Now I'm contemplating what to use to keep my makeup mirror closed when I'm not using it. I was thinking of using velcro but it's not quite right. You see, that's exactly what you don't want to do after you buy a product - evolve it to fix a manufacturer's design flaw.
