Great blade for my cordless chainsaws - DeWalt and Makita

Works well with my cordless chainsaws from Dewalt and Makita. It cuts more splinters down to the smallest chip than a standard DeWalt blade and the same with a standard Makita blade. It doesn't seem to affect accuracy when moving back and forth from Dewalt or Makita blades on the same track. The difference is so small that I don't notice it. I notice more inaccuracies due to blade deflection and saw body flexing when I'm cutting at an angle and pushing the saw too hard, or when the tracking tolerance is a little off. As far as the diameter of this blade compared to the 165mm blades from DeWalt and Makita, I didn't notice any difference on the Dewalt saw as the depth gauge takes track into account and still works accurately with the smaller blade. If I set the DeWalt depth setting on the saw to 1/2 inch (12mm), it cuts about 1-2mm of material of that size with this blade. With a 165mm blade, it sticks out of the material closer to 4mm. Makita's pruning saw feature may not work with this smaller blade, but I never use them anyway, I just keep my blades clean and sharp. They have a large carbide tip on each tooth like an industrial blade and are very sharp. The coating helps a lot with resin build up compared to the standard blades that came with both of my saws. The blades, in turn, are cooled and do not deform. I hope this review is helpful.
