PERFECT - We've recently started updating our home to make it a little 'smarter' - this included adding some Echo Dots to several rooms (we have a two story house). This socket rack is the PERFECT addition! He keeps the point connected and "out of the way” so to speak. In our downstairs room, this is the kitchen. We have a large open space, the island room is against the wall and has an exit there. This nifty shelf allows the Echo Dot to sit there, easily accessible but out of the way and without power cords dangling everywhere. But at the same time you can connect another element. This dot is also a "travel dot" so take it with you on the boat or with us when we travel etc. The shelf easily holds a portable charging station for Dot and Dot! AND LOOKS GREAT! The other upstairs room didn't have room for a table/shelf so he keeps it close and accessible but still out of the way, and again no cords dangling across the floor. This small socket rack is white in color so it fits most sockets any home could have as well as home decor. and STRONG as they all come out! EASY INSTALLATION - You simply unscrew your existing fairing and slide it into place! Everything takes a minute. Comes with two panel finishes: a rounded standard double socket plug and another if you have a square more modern one-piece style double plug. And yes, if you drop that darn little screw on the output cap, extra screws are included. Sleek - modern - looks exactly like the photo and can easily support the recommended maximum weight of 10 pounds. If you don't want your Echo Dot or other smaller electronics (which will also fit a full-size Echo) on a shelf or table, THIS is what you're looking for! Looks even better if you choose the Echo product in white :winks: Couldn't be happier and have nothing bad to say. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for this type of storage solution! (Note: the makers include an installation guide/sheet which is a quirky, silly, fun read lol - it will put a smile on your face)
