I have a 2013 RX350 and all the shocks are failing. The tailgate does not hold when the car is on a slope and the hood dampers no longer support it. I have 85K on the machine so that's pretty disappointing. I've only opened the hood 3 times since I bought it because I honestly take it to the dealer for service every 5,000 miles. Heck, I know people with cheap, high-mileage cars who are on their last legs, but their original shock absorbers are fine. In any case, I will not buy stock shock absorbers with their poor performance. They seem to be working fine. Also, I see people posting on forums that the Lexus dealership charged them $200 to install new shocks, which is just labor. They were easy to install and feel pretty stable. I have no idea how they will work in the long run but for now I am very happy. The price was great.
