This RTV setup is great, no need to stop the bead to compress the tube to get more RTV. You get a taper to control the thickness of the RTV by trimming the tip to the correct thickness (the cutter is on the side of the handle, it's a round insert and compresses the handle). Also, the tapered tip gives you easy access to install in small spots and the speed can be controlled with a trigger like the standard caulking gun. Depending on the climate, the curing time is approx. 2-4 hours. All in all a great setup, if you don't have joint pain then still choose the rtv pressure canister, permatex, the right material is great, you won't be disappointed. I used this for the LT1 front and rear splitter intake manifold gasket where there is no gasket for this awesome stuff.
