If you are new to spot welding this machine is for you. I'm also a beginner and just learning how to collect batteries. which ultimately leads you to spot welding. A few days ago I made a review of the Kerpu brand spot welder on Youtube and Revain. THIS unit just wasn't strong enough. However, I was quite surprised by this device. It worked MUCH BETTER! If you search "BiFRC 9 Gear Spot Welder Review" by Sid Jones on Youtube you will find my video review. I do not receive any partner funding for this. This is my review, not influenced by anyone. I started with 6 gears, which worked well for the thinner .12 nickel strip that came with the device. You'll see that when I tried the .15 I actually had to rev it up to 9 gears. It worked well and much better than Kerpu's proprietary device. I don't know how it will hold up in the long run but I like it for now. As always, constructive criticism or suggestions are welcome.
