Pros: Small size was the only plus. Cons: Oh where do I start. Firstly, I didn't like that after 5 minutes of using the scanner, lines appeared on my scanned 4x6 images, as if the rollers capturing the image left streaks on my photos. When I look at these photos on my "digital frame" the images are very grainy and have these horrible horizontal lines. I lost a whole year of digital photos but I have 4x6 printed photos in the box. So I wanted to scan all year and save it on my computer. After that has been said. I didn't like that after I scanned a batch of "January" photos and then cut/pasted them into the appropriate file, the "February" photos didn't show up until all the "January" photos showed up. were scanned again. In other words, you can't cut/paste data from the provided SD card (and your own SD card) until you're done with each photo (in my case I had hundreds of photos from January to December, which I had to manually scan and disconnect after the whole scan is complete). This is how the scanner and its software work. I also didn't like that the photos didn't fold easily after going through the scanner. They would snag on the strings at the back and fail, so I scanned each photo and took it from the back to keep everything in order. I would like this scanner to scan backwards or upside down so you don't have to send the photos back in the correct order. I would like to return this scanner although I had been authorized by Revain for a month but missed the opportunity and now I'm stuck with a scanner that works very mediocre. My advice is to save up and buy something more advanced with better reviews and a photo holder. You'll regret buying this thing if you do a lot of 4x6 cut/paste scanning to organize files on your computer. I found this scanner not very compatible with my Windows 8 laptop. Maybe I'll sell it at a flea market and get a whole dollar for it! This is what I think is worth using for the past few months.
