Review on 🔒 High-Quality Rear Hatch Trunk Door Lock Actuator Replacement for 2008-2017 VW Volkswagen Tiguan Jetta Sportwagen by John Baker

This latch looked exactly like the original part it replaced (2013 model). The fit was perfect. Installation is easy if you have the right tools. Unfortunately, the bolt failed less than 6 months after installation - the trigger motor makes no noise. Luckily, the manual unlocking still worked. There is no VW marking or country of origin marking on this part. The VW part I just bought from the dealer to replace this one - at 5 times the price - was marked VW, listed Italy as the country of origin and had a slightly different finish on the metal parts. This part is on the left in the picture, the new VW part on the right.
