This is what it looks like in the pictures. The color is beautiful and the rope is very strong and will withstand our dog's occasional rebellious bite. durable, it is also very heavy. I always carry it in my backpack. What could be a little stronger is the piece that secures the hook in the D-ring. I would wish for a better mechanism. But to be honest I haven't had any trouble opening it so far. Because the rope is strong, pay very close attention to your dog's movements around you. I had 2 rope burns, one on my arm (I was sitting) and a fairly severe one on my ankle. It takes several weeks to heal, and the first week was very painful. Make sure you wear high socks, pants, possibly high heels, and long sleeves when doing squats. Because if they run and change direction, it's most likely a rope with a brush from you, and it can be fast/abrasive. But overall I am very happy with my purchase.
