This might be the monitor for you, but not for me. I'm a professional programmer. You wouldn't believe a monitor could be too slow to read text, but this one is. It's advertised as 7ms GG, but it may not be that fast. I replaced them with Dell, with the advertised 8ms GG. Dell is much faster. Text scrolling is very spooky. This is very annoying. There is a reaction setting in the menu. Rotating in one direction white on black text has slightly less ghosting and the other direction scrolls black and white text slightly better, but it's not ideal in all conditions. Video playback also shows ghosts as other reviews have written, but that's not my intended use so it didn't bother me. The slow response was noted in two other reviews, one mentioning the games and the other being a little hard to take seriously (given the overwhelmingly positive reviews). I should have taken that seriously. They return. With static images, the display looks fantastic. It might be good for photo editing, but when you're writing code, you need something else.
