Strong rod finder, accepts measuring and scribing tools
I had a project where I needed to hang some pretty heavy shelves and I needed to be sure I was hitting the ceiling joists. This device did the job. Pros: Ease of use. The edge becomes visible and the center is highlighted with a laser. Shows the lines of the air conditioning. Cons: Can be fussy about moving too fast or not holding properly. But everyone does. Mine seemed to find AC lines everywhere. I'm not sure about the accuracy of this function. Overall I found it to be a great tool when used properly.
