This is a really good pet bed/blanket, actually more of a bed than a blanket. It's too thick for a blanket. although I wouldn't just use it as a bed for my dogs as it's not thick enough to perhaps support a not too heavy cat or kitten. I use this mat to walk on my dog's big thick bed and she loves to snuggle up to it, both sides are good for cooling or heating. I recommend this for added loft to an existing dog bed. I think it's a bit overpriced but it's worth it because my dog sleeps on it every day and loves it.
