It's amazing how many bad toilet brushes there are, but I've tried quite a few. Some bristles fall out quickly, some bristles are too soft or too hard, and the worst of them are newfangled ones that have a hinge near the head that allows them to flex, ostensibly for cleaning under the headband facilitate. Garbage. The connection on this one broke, and before it broke, making it impossible to apply pressure to the head to actually empty the bowl. So I was damn happy to get this Rubbermaid toilet brush and thought it was absolutely perfect. . The giraffe is beautiful and comfortable. The bristles are hard enough to get the job done but not so hard that they scratch anything and I like the simple open container that kind of keeps the brush perfectly straight without effort and the little rubber band around the bottom makes it impossible , to move around by gender. Just done right. Thanks, rubber maid.
