Review on 🖥️ Geekworm N100 Metal Case with Power & Reset Control Switch, Camera Holder - Optimized for Jetson Nano A02/B01/2GB/4GB and Jetson Xavier NX by Brady Penczak

I have the original Nano A02 and this case works well. Some other models have a hole for SD card access. In any case, I rarely swap out the SD card, so I don't have to. The best thing about this case is the LED-illuminated power button with a nice tactile feel, hard plastic around the soldered tabs on the back, and even a small silicone O-ring to hold the . Water? . Outside. I don't mind that, but the holes are adequate so that water and dust don't get into the buttonhole, which is your biggest problem. However, it's clear they got it from someone with an interest in buttons! I previously had a Noctua 10mm PWM 5V fan and it fits great in a large gap - they claim a 20mm fan would also fit and I have no reason not to believe that. Small annoyance: the brass posts that you have to screw in seem to have two different threads - M3 on one side, M2.5 on the other maybe? And it's not entirely clear which side is which, either by trial and error or with the help of a magnifying glass. Or maybe I'm just imagining it. The printed instructions on the wiki don't really show this part, and the case fit together nicely with only a slightly beveled screw hole, so overall not bad for the twenty bucks I paid. Also, you have to unplug all the cables to remove the cover since the back panel is in a separate piece on the bottom. Using an L-shape for the bottom back instead of the top back would have allowed the Nano to stay fully connected and assembled when the cover is removed. You also need to be careful not to unplug the reset button cable when you open the case again as it is a separate part. This design choice loses a star - change this design and you get a fifth star!
