This stove is actually ridiculously powerful. I have used it with generic coleman propane canisters (you will need EN417 Lindal Valve adapter purchased separately - don't get the cheapest ones though) and pretty much kept it on minimum flames to cook some stakes and fried fish.I estimate that I probably was cooking on 1/10th or 1/15th of the potential output. Plenty powerful for most if not all cooking needs for its size. The stove is also sturdily built but could be an overkill for most needs.Flames were pretty much at the minimum setting on the photo. I did not even try the max setting as it sounds like a jet engine once you open it up.
