maybe less guesswork

It's a nice little board, but for those looking to reprogram it, a couple of Amazon questions answered with a link to a 2016 blog post is a pretty poor excuse for one table data. hope this picture helps someone. with the serial FTDI card it is programmed ok. The relay is on GPIO2 and GPIO4 is probably on the terminal block but I haven't checked personally. The web server code from the blog post above worked great, so thanks to James Ely for making it easy. According to the blog linked in the questions, even 5V at 2A doesn't provide enough current to actually work for some reason. I used a 12V power supply instead.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
