I've used these H!Fiber.com 1000Base-SX Transceiver Gigabit Multimode SFP LC Modules twice and they worked fine both times. No hassles or fuss, just plug and play.

This is a great general purpose transceiver which I use with a pair of Meraki MS220-8P. The only problem I've found is that they're difficult to remove if you want to move them to another Switch, but most people won't do it that often anyway.

Just plugged them into two SFP ports on my 26-port Netgear switch (GS724TPP) and then connected two Ethernet cables. That's all! Worked great. One cable went from my router, the other went to my NVR security camera. Now I have 24 ports left to load 17 more cameras and anything else I need.

I bought these for use in TP-Link Jetstream network switches which have 8 POE ports and two SFP ports. I used them for uplinks and was able to use all 8 POE ports for wired POE cameras. These guys hooked up from the start and worked flawlessly, so now I have two 9-port switches on my network. Very happy with them.

I use them to connect several different computers and switches. My main switch is a Netgear switch with SFP+ and they connect and run at a full 10Gbps with no issues. I also have these settings in some PCIE network adapters on some servers and they handle 10GB/s with no problems. I am actually using the orange OM1 fiber and it handles 10Gbps for short distances with no issues.
