I'm quite relevant but I've never replaced one of these and their pressure equalization unit. The installation guide that came with it was cryptic, but with that and the old device I was able to figure everything out. Once the shower control was assembled and turned to the off position, a drip would drip out of the shower approximately every five seconds. The screws holding the fairing go into the cover; The top one went in fine, but the bottom one got harder and harder to turn until, sticking out about an inch, it wouldn't go any further. Eventually I went to a local home center and bought a genuine Kohler which installed with no problems and no drips. Six days ago, according to the instructions, I sent a letter to the address of the service with a question about the drip, but I have not heard from them. buy cabbage; it's not that much more expensive and a lot less hassle.
