Bad for high performance cars
If you have vibration near your engine the hinges will just vibrate up and over the bolt and come right out of the bolt. I was doing 65 on the interstate when my hood came through the windshield. I was lucky that this happened on a straight and not on a corner, otherwise I wouldn't be here.
