Poor Shielding: Computer Accessories and Peripherals

I have lots and lots of ethernet cables in my office. Some of them are over 25 years old and still work great (the technology hasn't changed much). These cables generate a significant amount of interference, leading me to believe they are poorly shielded. I have a radio in my office and as soon as I started using it all the radios produced impulses (stream of data). Unplug the cable and it disappears. I've hooked up dozens of old cables and haven't had this problem. These cables are not well shielded and I suspect this will eventually cause other problems. I cannot recommend them for this reason. For the money, they feel well made and will be valuable in a pinch, but not in the long run.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive
