I have used a buckle strap hammock for many years and while I was interested in fart loops I never thought it was worth the time or effort. However, Sgt Knots had a really good deal on 2.5mm Dyneema, so I figured out what the heck. I have to say that making my own whoopie slings was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The line has no stretch that I could notice (I weigh 185 pounds with another 40 pounds of gear hanging from the harness). It was easy to work with, bright colors for better visibility, incredibly light weight and a great price. Recommend this for other hammocks.
