I read the bad reviews on here but hoped I wouldn't see the same problems. Not correct. I have a MacBook Pro, an HP laptop with an HP Dual Port Display Dock, a MacBook Air, and a home desktop with an Nvidia GTX 1070. Try your best with cables, adapters, replacement parts, and more. no, no joy. I couldn't get stable images no matter what I tried. The monitors went off and on frequently, rendering them unusable. I bought a CKL-942HUA, plugged it in instead of StarTech and everything works fine. And cheaper. Sent back to StarTech. I'm not sure what StarTech's problem is, but it looks like their HDMI implementation is flawed. avoid it
