Due to the hot weather in Phoenix at the moment we have decided to just swap the lights now and rewire later if there is no wiring issue now. Our wiring worked except the ground wire on the hitch (trailer side) broke in two and it wasn't obvious at first. Not to mention the white ground wire on each taillight. Although it seems obvious now, it wasn't at first because our old taillights were grounded via mounting screws inside the light, meaning there was no external wire like these new lights had. Box and possibly a website covering these clarifications. Love LEDs and will buy again.
