I bought the 3Ah version of this same battery a couple of years ago and it has held up well, as it still delivers 2.8Ah when discharged at 3A to 16.00V with a battery analyzer. I had high hopes for these 5Ah batteries, then, and at about 1/3rd the price of the genuine article I couldn't pass them up. Well, these are consistently coming in around 3.8Ah when discharged at 3A and with a lower cutoff voltage of 15.00V (and note that the on-battery charge indicator still gamely displays a solid 1 bar). In comparison, some genuine DeWalt 5Ah batteries that I purchased at the same time as these deliver 4.4Ah when discharged at 3A to 16.00V, so more capacity even at the higher cutoff voltage. Still, getting about 75% of the capacity for 1/3rd the price is a heckuva deal so I'm only dinging 1 star for them claiming to be 5Ah batteries, when 4Ah would have been much more truthful.
