The only experience I've had with projectors was earlier when I wasn't even sure if it was 480p with maybe 1000 lumens, super dark like 10 years ago. I helped mom find one so she could do a few simple powerpoint presentations in her small office, and that's about all they were good for back then (with blackout curtains and lights out. The last concern I had was the sound quality and this little speaker sounded clear even in the quiet parts, compared to the standard fan noise I've seen on other brands' devices was an issue. DBPower killed it with ease of setup and use, and where other products fall short and make compromises they haven't made, and that's really important as a consumer. I haven't had any issues with iOS/Android, so I just grab the device that's closer and press play.
