I've wanted one for a long time and I finally got it! I went for a gallon cup which was a bit smaller than I expected but that's exactly what the measurements show. High quality plastic - feels thick, durable and very well constructed. To hang. I decided to try a plastic part instead of drilling a hole in the wall for another method. I like that both options are included. The plastic part is very easy to assemble and insanely strong. I can't believe how strong he seems. After putting in gravel, tiki man, moss balls and plants, it felt a bit cramped. I left it for a week before putting the fish in and eventually removed the moss balls and trimmed the plant to make more room. I currently have a rooster there and he seems very happy and healthy. I wouldn't put other fish in there because there isn't much space, especially goldfish because they're pretty messy, they grow fast and need a lot more space than this one. I also added an air stone to gently aerate the water and the bettas seem to love it. I am very happy with this aquarium. It's easy to maintain. I pump out about half the water weekly with an air hose to clean the gravel, but other than that it doesn't require much maintenance. This is a fun and unique addition to our dining room and we love looking at it every day. I may have to get another one!
