Review on Upgraded SSP-30XL: Portable RV Smart Surge Protector with Cover - 30 Amps by Progressive Industries by Danny Poulin

In less than a year our surge protector went out. We've only used it three times. I contacted Progressive about the lifetime warranty and was told we had a surge but the motorhome was protected but the warranty doesn't cover the surge just manufacturing defects. After reading the reviews I saw someone said they had the same problem and the LED inside didn't light up. I contacted them again to ask how to tell if we had a climb and was told to open and take photos. Everything was good. I never would have known I would do this unless someone gave feedback. Contacted a third time, I ask about it and send photos, now they send a replacement, they never told me to check.
