I bought these for my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited to replace the existing ones on my axle shafts. I took this to a professional shop for installation as I don't have a shop press. As a result, we paid an hour's labor at $115 an hour for their installation. When I got back to my Jeep to install them, I found that the screw caps in the metal bracket just turned in the bracket. It's almost like welding on them just isn't strong enough or something. Unfortunately, the top of the bolt cap is smooth. So there is no wrench. I later read online that another guy had the same problem and had to remove the plugs entirely and replace them with regular nuts and bolts from the local hardware store. Luckily in my case I had good needle nose pliers. I was able to attach them to the smooth top of the bolt shank and I could use the socket wrench on the other side to tighten the bolt. It was ALMOST an exercise in futility. but after an hour of very frustrating work that took me to the limit of my strength to attach the pliers to it. I finally have them all. Prayed they wouldn't slip off and leave me with a plug I couldn't tighten. 3 of them are broken on one side, 2 on the other. Happy times. This manufacturer really needs to work on a better weld for the connectors on the metal bracket. Or just make sure the socket head fits the wrench. I would give 1 star here. but I felt that was unfair because in the end I got the part and she really did the job she was meant to do.
